Bandar Seri Begawan, 20 August 2025 – Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam Berhad (BIBD) has successfully launched a new feature that enables users to purchase utility top-up credit directly through the existing BIBD NexGen mobile application.
This newly introduced option allows customers to conveniently top up their electricity and water credit anytime and anywhere, without the need to visit physical outlets or use separate platforms.
This initiative is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to:

Enhance customer convenience by delivering seamless, user-friendly digital banking and utility services;

Support Brunei Darussalam’s national digital transformation goals, as outlined in Wawasan Brunei 2035;

Promote cashless and contactless transactions, contributing to a more efficient and resilient economy; and
