Brunei Darussalam has utilized the Electric and Water meters in the past, using mostly physical ways to reload the bill using POWERKad. However, in fulfilling the Brunei Wawasan 2035 objective, DST Network is offering a Unified Smart Metering System. The gateway to Digitalizing Electric and Water services by providing a Smart Platform for the population.

Unified Smart Metering System
A platform that uses Meter data management, Meter management, Billing and customer service portal system. This new 2-way communication module
enables the system to send and receive real time data, notifications from the smart meter using 3G or 4G SIM cards for monitoring and billing.
With Smart Meter connectivity, customers are now able to manage not just electricity bills but also water bills through the same smart energy meter
module using their own USMS Customer account.
The mass installation to residential and commercial buildings will be operated by certified installers. Upon installation, everyone can conveniently
Top-up or bills using digital services from the web, in-app purchases straight from the phone or web-browser.
